Continental O-470

Status : complete and exhibited at the workshop. 
This six-cylinder, horizontally opposed air-cooled engine is a family of aircraft engines that covers many variants from 210cv to 260cv. 

The engines were first developed in the late 40’s and certified on 19 january 1951. 

They powered a wide range of aircrafts like the Cessna 180, Cessna 182 , Cessna 310, Cessna L-19 Bird Dog, Nardi FN-333 Riviera, Ryan Navion.











The B.A.P.A. example was save from scrap by a collector and given to us.
